Owner, Senior Artist, She/Her
Tegan Rush is the owner and creative mind behind Clever Creature Tattoo. She is a super colourful, fantastical, and whimsical neotrad artist. Tegan and colour are a dynamic duo, they go together like gin and tonic! She loves to tattoo animals, and natural elements like, mystical mushrooms, glowing beetles, or bright shining goldfish.

Flower Eaters
Senior Artist
Flower Eaters (Robin) is a senior tattoo artist, she has been tattooing since 2012 and drawing since she was a toddler. Robin is an eclectic soul through and through! Using her deep love of colour she has created a unique signature style. Some of the styles, subject matter and inspiration you’ll find in her tattooing are Neo Traditional, Neo Japanese, Anime, and Glitter.

Junior Artist
Wet Paint (Madsie) is our junior tattoo artist and studio manager. Madsie is a painter turned tattoo artist during the ‘great pandemic career shift’. Working in mostly black and grey she’s inspired by traditional tattoo motifs and subjects in an illustrative style. We are so excited to have her at Clever Creature Tattoo and watch her grow as an artist in this new medium, (and maybe talk her into loving colour tattooing)

Katie Bryne
Senior Artist, She/Her
Katie is a black and grey artist who specializes in illustration. Her work is both whimsical and spooky, fineline but bold, and sometimes features a pop of spot colour. You can catch her drawing inspiration from nature, fantasy, mythology and she rarely shies away from challenging subject matter. This is especially beneficial seeing as Katie is an expert cover-up artist and uses that flexibility to create the perfect cover-up. From small fineline to large scale bold designs, Katie has you covered.

Melina van der Werf is a tattoo artist and self taught illustrator. Her style derives inspiration from Asian style tattooing and fantasy, while she is drawn towards the bold, dark and dramatic with a soft spot for delicate femininity.

Oliver Urbano
Senior Artist, He/Him
Oliver Urbano is a tattoo artist with 6 years experience, specializing in microrealism and fine line realism. His work mixes a variety of realistic and illustrative techniques, and he’s well known for his pet portraits. With roots in Venezuela, he came to Canada 10 years ago and now proudly calls Toronto home. Oliver is also fluent in Spanish.
